4:15 Be very careful, ¹  then, because you saw no form at the time the Lord spoke to you at Horeb from the middle of the fire.

Ulangan 4:22

4:22 So I must die here in this land; I will not cross the Jordan. But you are going over and will possess that ²  good land.

Ulangan 13:14

13:14 You must investigate thoroughly and inquire carefully. If it is indeed true that such a disgraceful thing is being done among you, ³ 

Ulangan 19:18

19:18 The judges will thoroughly investigate the matter, and if the witness should prove to be false and to have given false testimony against the accused, ⁴

[4:22]  ² tn Heb “this.” The translation uses “that” to avoid confusion; earlier in the verse Moses refers to Transjordan as “this land.”

[13:14]  ³ tc Theodotian adds “in Israel,” perhaps to broaden the matter beyond the local village.
